EZY11 LTN-EDI 28 JUL 13 (EASYJET PLUS)

I don't normally post trip reports for small, internal non VA flights, but thought this one was worth a mention. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of EasyJet.

The trip was last minute, booked the day before I flew - the price however was pretty reasonable. (Sadly quite a lot cheaper than little red so no tier points for me).

The lounge at Luton is pretty nice and I received a decent feed. The flight to Edinburgh was called and I was reminded personally by the service air staff that my plane was ready - nice touch!

The airbus 319 was rammed, but now having pre booked seating means that up front was still roomy and quiet. Seat 1D was pretty enjoyable. No one next to me and only one on the opposite side.

Pilot was friendly and apologised for the rain, but took the time to remind us that we were flying into Scotland, and really what more could we expect. A flight deck with a sense of humour is always appreciated.

Flight time was under an hour and door to door, 2.5 hours which included probably longer than was absolutely necessary in Luton.
