Just bought one of these Miglia TVmini thingys off the Apple UK Store (who are offering it at 30% discount at the moment @ £69.95). Brilliant. Device no bigger than one of those USB memory sticks, picks up all the Freeview channels, including the digi guide, no external power supply needed; great picture; records & buffers live TV like a TiVo you can put in your pocket - perfect for travelling around Europe. They also have an HD version for North America, though I doubt my own travels would justify it.

The supplied mini aerial is a bit pants unless you live in a strong signal area, but it worked fine with a bog standard TV aerial, so I've ordered myself a Philips SBC-TT650 amplified "travel" aerial (which folds down for that very purpose), and even works on batteries. The next experiment will be to see if I can get a TV picture on the train...

Got one too! Great little gadget allowing iMac to be used as a spare TV/recorder when required.

Friend has a similar device for his laptop and loves it - especially when travelling. Have tried it and agree that the provided arial is pretty pants.

One word of warning (killjoy that I am :)). You do require a TV license - as indeed you do for watching live programmes streamed to your PC.
