Much has been mooted already about Bose CS. I needed some new silicon tips for my IE headphones so I followed the directions on the Bose website (UK) and phoned the 0800 number (as no price is given on the website for replacement sets, just the instructions to ring said number).
Unbelieveable - on the Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend the phone is answered on the third ring![y] -By a real person![y][y]. Said person listens to my dilemma - a few details later new tips are on their way to me .Free gratis[:0]. The lovely chap also said that Bose are currently looking at the IE headphones as there have been "problems" with them but he didn't know if this was simply a problem with the tips (which do seem to split/disintegrate or in my case get lost) or a problem with the headphones themselves (which I've not encountered).
Why aren't all customer service experiences like this eh?
