Hi everyone,

I'm sure you get this question ALL the time but I was just wondering if anyone knows what a/c will be on the VS29 LGW-BGI at the end of March? Is there a website which tells you?

Thanks for your help!

Tom

Hi Tom,

Hate to say it, but we do indeed get this all the time. So much so, that it's covered in the FAQ's ;)

Even if you knew the aircraft, there is no guarantee that it would be the one operating the flight. Ops can make very last minute changes due to delays elsewhere etc.

This question does appear here all the time - and thats one of the reasons why we are here!!!

Its getting more and more tricky to know what the "actual" named aircraft will be - and for security reasons its better that no-one in the public domain knows - why? - Just imagine Prince Charles was gonna fly to BGI and he was going on VS - the dates of his activities are published so its not hard to know when he's going. A mad man wants to do something bad so they need to know what plane he is going on - by use having a list of the actual plane then we give the mad man a big helping hand.

Suffice to say its more than likely to be a 747 in LGW spec!!! Migth be a LHR spec - but thats unlikely.

Anyway 2 things Tom:

Why not sign up as a v-flyer member - its only a tenner and it really helps us all to run the site and do an even better job - server space costs as does bandwidth!!!! You have 35 posts so you are a regular user!!!

Secondly - make sure you do a TR

Have fun
