now i know that Virgin have aired some new ads recently advertising its UCS but dont you think that virgin should at least mention that v:port is rolling out in its ads. imho i dont think that it could do any harm seeing as though that BA are installing their new AVOD and will more than likely advertise it in some way.

what are your thoughts?

They can't really push V-Port in their ads. None of the LGW planes have it fitted, and seem unlikely to get it in the near future.

I agree Nick this is the weak point in V-S V-Port partial rollout.

I dont think it would be a good idea as V:Port is still not on all VS A/C and people would start expecting it on every flight. How would you feel if your were expecting V:Port and ending up getting Nova?

I dont think BA will mention their IFE for the same reason (well not until it's rolled out right across the fleet anyway)

Also dont forget that as V:Flyers, we are in the position to know exactly what we are going to get, whereas the majority of pax will not know what they are getting.
