T 10 poll, do over

I realized that I had badly worded the previous poll, let me take another shot at it.



So, if you had to choose one, which would it be.

I'll say it ... make a Last Word and you won't notice much difference between using T10 and Gordons. But, other than in a movie, there is precious little chance of that on a VS flight now, is there? For G&T, T10 all the way. Sapphire's an acquired taste, one that I have personally never acquired all that much... it'll do in a pinch, which is not what UC is supposed to be about.

I thought UC was all about penny pinching over the last few years [V]

Went to Gaucho's last week with some Canadian customers. No T10, no Bombay, no Hendricks. Tried Millers, not one I've tried before. Might just have well've been Gordons green.

Any comments on Beefeater? To me it just doesn't taste quite right, and always gives me a headache, even before the hangover.

Purely with my Duty Free hat on, Gordons Export strength walks away with it for pure sales volume. Next would be Beefeater, then Bombay, T10, T regular and at the bottom Hendricks. This is based soley on sales, not taste.
All available at a very reasonable price in my shops[:D]

Beefeater and Millers both are light on citrus notes, more of the good old 'suck on a pine needle' gins. Millers might well do a better job of it, but it's not what I'd go for given the choice of London gins, when drinking a G&T or mixing a Martini.

Martini's for me require a purity of taste that T10 and the other highly flavoured gins can't provide - so its TExport all the way for that purpose. Sometimes Hendricks.

Plymouth is always an undervalued brand for drinks, I like it too.

Gordons, Beefeater, others I wouldn't buy.
