Does anyone remember?

Back in May this year there was an ad on the VS website offering a miles bonus for car hire. I beleive the bonus was 3 times the normal milesage + 1000 (it may have been 2000).

The link took me to Virgin Atlantic Travel plus and I followed it thru and made a booking, with Dollar.

Just got back and only 328 miles have been credited for the booking.

I am convienced this is wrong as I normally book with Hertz and get 1000 miles.

Does anyone remember this offer, so I can correctly quote in my email, and does anyone know the correct address to write to?

The thought of another drawn out mileage claim with VS really does get me down, especially as it's for so few miles, however, principal, rather than the value of the missing miles means I have to persue it.

I used it in may and received 3x miles.

I'm afraid you'll need to follow the 'claim missing miles' process.

Yes I remember the offer too as I booked for car hire this October. You did need to show your FF card though to claim the extra 1000 miles when you signed for the car at the Dollar office. I wait and see what I get miles wise when I return. And I do so know what you mean by another long drawn out mileage claim!!!
