Upgrade or Volunteer?

Hi im currently booked on tonights VS602 in S (reward seat)
However the flight is delayed and S is oversold

So should I

a) try to get in Upper?
B) volunteer and get bumped onto tomorrows flight?

What should virgin offer me if I choose b?

Answer miles and a hotel for the night plus 24 hrs of ennui.

I see on EF that J still has four seats, I'd imagine some upgrades and some jiggling anbout - if you have miles and check in early, upgrade yourself to be sure?
