I;ve tried logging onto the my booking part of the site from the main virgin page and throught the flying club section but no matter what I do I can't seem to be able to pick of view seats?

Should the writting 'View or change your seats' at the top of the page be hyperlinked and allow me to click on it?

Thanks for any help

It is possible that the number of seats available for pre-allocation has been reached. Only 60% are released in the first tranche and after that the seat maps are unable to be seen. These will become visible again just before OLCI opens and the rest of the seats with the exception of exit and bulkhead rows can then be requested. Exit and bulkhead seats are allocated at the check-in desk.

Your best bet is to check just before OLCI and then do OLCI when it opens

As Honeylamb siad it could be that there are not sufficent seats available for pre-booking for your party. I had to change my bookings due to illness and when I went to select seats I could only do so for the outbound and not the inbound. I called reservations to check and they confirmed that there were not enough seats for our party so we would have to wait for OLCI to open.

I've just looked at my own booking on the VS website and have realised what you are asking here. The writing at the top of the page is just listing the options and is not hyperlinked. The link is directly under the box headed 'Flight Itinerary' giving details of your flights. Underneath each sector is another box and it is there. If you can't see it or it doesn't let you on to that page it is highly likely that all seats available for pre-allocation are gone.
