booking a stay at the Hilton aviemore in two weeks costing 270=12,960 miles[:0][:0]

Seems very hard to find the info into what is classed as a 'qualifying purchase' either on VS or SkyScanners..
Anyone had any experience of these, and risking airline tickets through them?

Of interest through, March '10 return to NY from MAN at Circa 450 in Y giving me 'one-off' circa 46k miles plus the bums on seat miles earned for flying Continental....

If it's not an error then, yes, what an incredible means of accumulating miles en masse! To answer your point Decker it is easy to switch from Economy to Business once Skyscanners have redirected you to the partner site eg. eBookers or Expedia. So yes, spend a couple of K on some J's and reap near on 100K miles [y]

Will be interesting to see if any consumer rights stand with this, (i.e. keeping screenshot of the offer). Assumption is there is no point of contact within the systenm to confirm this offer, or dig out the T's&C's for it?

They are there/ were there.. look under Auto/ Travel under 's'

Unless someone at VS has gasped in horror and quickly removed them from the list!
