What do you mean? VS has already released flights to MIA (and on all routes) until the end of next November, so next summers flights are out. Or did you mean sale fares? There isn't currently any UC sales on, but might be in the New Year, but who knows for what travel period or to which destinations??

There is normally and Upper sale in the next week or so, but there are no guarantees that it will be on the routes/dates you want.

Miami has been conspicuously absent from a lot of VS sales recently - so much so that we flew via Boston twice last year, getting internel flights with JetBlue.

That was in PE - not sure about UC.

MIA in the current PE sale is around the 900 level for the summer months, so you would expect, IF (and it's a big IF) MIA is in a UC sale, the levels aren't going to be that cheap.

I've just done a check on flights to Miami in early August. UC on a Z is just over 2119, UC on Miles Plus Money is 1384 plus 15,000 miles. That seems an incredible discount for 15,000 miles and I'd be tempted to take that now rather than hope for a sale.

I don't work in the industry so if anyone knows any better, feel free to correct me.

Wow, that is actually a very good price for a M+M fare, it is very rare that I say go for it, but in that case I would be inclined to say book it.

That is a huge saving, and very unusual for the M+M fare to be that much cheaper. I agree with Scrooge, that I would be tempted to book that.

I was looking at fares to SFO in August, UC showing at 2621 but with M+M its only 1399 + 15000 miles, is there usually that much of a saving with M+M fares, not used them before.

No not at all, which is why most on here don't tend to use them or rate them. Again that is a big saving, do remember that on M+M fares don't earn miles or TP's, just in case that is important to you or you future travel plans.

that was a very cheap price, and usually a NYC UC sale level. MIA is usually around the 1500 level in the sale and with PE fares in the current sale at around 900 I can't see UC being 1100 any time soon.
