Is there a problem with the flight status displays on VFlyer? I was looking at VS027 LGW-MCO yesterday and today, and it's been a static display for 12th May both days - info for the 10th and 11th May hasn't been given. Or aren't those flights running for some reason?

The flight status tool picks up on the most recent flight date, and occasionally (and I'm not sure why), the Virgin feed can include schedule info for a flight several days in the future. This then 'trumps' the current flight status, so you don't see the actual movements.

There are a couple of workarounds, however. The Schedules page will show flight history in comparison with timetables, so you can see which aircraft flew the route yesterday (and beyond) and the timings. For future and current flights (up until the plane arrives at the gate), there is also the Status Updates page, which is almost a raw feed of the info powering a lot of the flight data on the site.

For the VS027, today's flight is due to be operated by G-VROY and estimated to leave at 20:45.

Pete - any chance you could sort the flight status page by the numeric flight number, rather than the current ordering which seems to be based on an alphabetic sort which is confusing (e.g. VS19 and VS20 aren't next to each other!)

Thanks
