Just a quick update from the gate.

Huge sign at the entrance to MCO duty free saying that EU transferring passengers can now buy liquids (ie alcohol :) ) which will be securley bagged for their onward flight y)

A bit late for me, as just came down from lounge, but never the less, a little bit of good news for transferring passengers

Hmmm that is good news if it actually works! I have fallen victim previously to MCO staff (both VS and World Duty Free) ensuring me that the alcohol was securely bagged for an onward flight! Of course it was not and as a result I had to check, in its own especially purchased Nike bag, a bottle of gin. Any saving I had made in buying duty free was lost when i had to fork out £14 for a nike bag!!!

yes the security seal must be intact and the receipt must be in the bag and visible.

I think it also depends on transferring airside and not landside so at LHR no Revivals!

Saw someone at T5 go through landside security in May with a rather large box of parfum in a duty free shopping bag. She was waved through too.

A passing look at the banner showed this was a clear bag with a large "duty free" seal all the way round.

Just tried to google for more info .... and what comes up, but this page :)
