Black VA Amex Econ > PE Reward Upgrades

Hi All,

can anyone confirm if the ECON - PE rewards, which I understand are valid for a year, means you have to fly within a year of getting them, or make a booking within a year of getting them?

All rewards on the MBNA Amex cards must be redeemed within one year of issue.

It doesn't matter when your actually flying on the reward.
