Did Virgin fly to Barbados From Heathrow?

Sorry if this title causes any confusion but I couldn't think of any other appropriate title.

A few years ago I seem to re-call that Virgin operated a number of their BGI flights from LHR during the summer, Does anyone know if I'm correct? As I seem to remember that they left during the afternoon?

At the time I heard that this was because of something to do with keeping slots at Heathrow?

Yes, from December 2007 until March 2008, the BGI flights were operated ex LHR, and IIRC were operated by a LGW a/c, just operating out of LHR to help VS keep slots.
