IMAP on US bound flights

Is the imap on V-PORT still disabled on US bound flights? I flew to EWR in June and when selecting the imap just got a 'Please wait' message.

Could have been a fault, or restrictions were still in place.

It worked fine on the return flight to LHR

It worked for me in both directions when I flew in May (JFK-LHR) on VS4 and VS9. It was very, very slow, though.

Ah probably just a fault on that particular Aircraft at the time then (Emmeline Heaney).

You are right it's often painfully slow.

Worked for me to and from SFO in June and July. It was probably a fault with the IFE on that particular aircraft

i find you have to press the blue button to get the map to come up, despite what it says on screen. it is usually painfully slow though
