I thought that the Heroes scheme had fallen to the beancounters, but it is being pushed in the current edition of Seatback and now has its own website.

Forgive me if this is old news, but I hadn't seen the very worthwhile scheme mentioned for a while.

Well this is a welcome return y)

I know there has been a lot of criticism of late, yet we all know there are still some dedicated folks working for Virgin who always go the extra mile and this scheme does allow for them to be recognised

Thanks Nick y) . I too thought this had run its course and am very pleased to see it continue. I was going to nominate someone a couple of months ago but could not find it ... so now will!

I am another fan of the Heroes scheme. In these times of budgets and profit margins it is easy for employees to feel their input doesn't make a difference.
This is a great way for Virgin to identify those who really understand customer service and (note to bean counters) generate brand loyalty and repeat business.

good stuff, had two very different experiences trying to book my UC round the world ticket

one agent was clueless beyond belief, actually hung up on me, the next perfection, tried to leave a response on the website and it crashed telling me to try later, which says enough about the way things are in itself

I would nominate the member of cabin crew on my recent flight to MCO - but i dont know his surname!

Best service ive had on VS. Made it seem like every passenger was the only one on board and even managed to arrange a trip up to the flight deck for me!

You don't need to know the CC's surname, just the flight no., date, first name and cabin you travelled in ...
