Connection time in Nairobi

Just wanted your thoughts, I am off on my honeymoon in a few weeks time to Kenya, going on safari and then finishing off with a few days on the beach in Mombassa. Our return flight from Mombassa is the direct Fly540 flight from Mombassa to Nairobi that departs Mombassa at 8:25AM arriving into Nairobi at 10:00AM giving us time to catch our VS flight (Upper Class) at 12:40PM back to LHR.

I have been advised by my agent that this is enough time to pick up our bags and transfer across but just wanted your thoughts. I had to book these flights seperately so I am not on the same PNR so should I advise Virgin of my connection incase there are delays etc? Is it best to Check in online prior to taking the Fly540 flight? ?|

In my system, the minimum connecting time to or from an International flight is 1 hour. This is the absolute minimum for people who have luggage checked through and are on 1 ticket.
I would say that you should be fine, but it is a risk of course and I have no experience about the on time reliabilitiy of Fly.
