VS652 at LGW Today

Does anyone know why G-VEIL has made an unscheduled stop at LGW today whilst operating VS652?

Seems a very odd place for an unplanned diversion due to the close proximity to LHR....?

.....There's obviously been some kind of problem at LHR this afternoon. Just looked at Heathrowairport.com and the flight arrivals and departures pages are an absolute mess.
Looks like several flights have been diverted, not just VS.

Visibility is dreadful today at LHR. You can barely even see the runway from the A4.

Fog has been a nightmare at LHR today, loads of flight canx, delayed & diverted.

It's obviously been very localised, I was only about 15 miles from LHR this afternoon and conditions were fine!
