Flight Change Info Please

We are booked in Upper on the VS043 from LGW to LAS on the 4th December, returning on the 8th December. ( Very Excited!!! ) The seat plan is currently showing a LHR config aircraft both ways and we have managed to get good seats 16/17A. We are really looking forward to getting V Port and the larger Upper cabin. Would anyone be so kind and check the loads on these flights for me please, and also whats the likleyhood of the aircraft changing as the LHR rarely operate the LAS route.

The flight is absolutely wide open, which does seem a little strange for a vegas flight on a Saturday. I can understand it being wide open in Upper, given all of the extra seats, but am surprised it is so quiet down the back.

As to the question of another change, the maxim is Yes - it can change right up to the day of the flight - too many variables to say anything for sure.

For info, your return is also showing an LHR config, and is just as wide open.

The first 3 weeks of December are the slowest part of the year here in Vegas, people are just putting away money for Christmas and to come here for New Years.

The only thing really going on is NFR.

Thanks Nick, I'm probably being a bit paranoid, but we are travelling on two G's, do they ever cancel flights if they are quiet?

They often merge MCO flights from two flights a day to one, but I can't remember them cancelling any others due to light loads.

The fact that 9s are showing doesn't always indicate that the plane is nearly empty - merely that there are at least 9 tickets in the bucket available. See explanation here.

Also, just because the outbound is light, the inbound could be chocker. y)

Finally, if a scheduled airline started to get a reputation for cancelling flights last minute, it would soon lose the business customers it relies on to make a profit.

Mr DL and I are flying into LAS next Sunday on a LGW aircraft. I spoke with premier yesterday and the flight is very very quiet so I think Scrooge is right (NFR is fun though. Yeeha ).There are a load of G seats available on our flight and I have to admit I am rather tempted to dump some miles ): .
