Many PAX on flexible book or cancel right up to a few hours before. I certainly always do - book a flight I "might" take but if my meetings finish early or later then adjust right up to a couple of hours before take off (or less esp from OAD)and quiet often have to take a flight from the UK with less than 24hrs notice due to the nature of my work and I expect other J and W pax may work in a similar way.
