Check your Flight Details Carefully !

I've been checking my flights every few days to see if I can book my return seats (on 330) for flight VS028 at 19.05 Orlando to Gatwick, this morning when I checked, my flights details have been changed by VS to VS028 at 17.55 !!!!! ?|

I booked and have confirmation for the later flight (thank God) so rang VH and queried and was at first told I could pay an extra £51 each to change my flights to the later flight!! - No way, their mistake, not mine. v(

After refusing to pay any extra for a flight I have already booked and confirmed they said could I fax them a copy of my confirmation letter so that they could book me on the later flight at no extra cost - what a bloody shambles, what ever is going on at Virgin nowadays ! There seems to be no co-ordination between VH and VS at all!

So people, be warned, make sure you continue to check your flight details every now and again before you go or you could be in for a nasty surprise if your tickets turn up with a different time on them, not helpful if you have made plans round the original flight times!

Perhaps a slightly OTT reaction to a 1 hour 10 minute flight time change, unless you've got a connecting flight that is affected.

already have arrangements for pick up on return which would have to be altered and have sorted other details for that day as friends flying own plane down from New Jersey day before to be with us and have a surprise planned for them already for that day. Flight times might be only a few hours difference but that makes a lot of difference getting to the airport that much earlier too!
