Hi again. I've just added my wife in the flyer club and put her details on our flight. Does this means she gets the flyer miles as well as me? It says members get 3480 per passenger. So a total of just under 7000. If she gets them too will she get the same?

You will get the miles for you and she will get her miles - so 3480 each.

Even if you hadn't enroled her in FC you would still have only got one set of miles (3480) - your own.

And if you'd referred her using the Miles more Friends option you would have got a small bonus when she flew.

A screenshot would be intersting if you can do that without divulging personal info, as the message you're seeing is either misleading or a big change in T&Cs.

Unless you are a gold card holder with children holding supplementary silver (whose miles you can divert into your account) your account is your account and hers is hers.

You cannot put your number on her flight, or divert her miles into your account. Moreover you can't pool the miles. There are lots of threads though that cover how you can book one leg from one account and three from another where you have unequal amounts of miles.

Stick around, read widely on the forum - you'll be an expert miles tart before you know it!

That isn't correct, you only earn miles or your own flights.

Flying Club members will earn 3,458 miles and 4 tier point(s) per adult for this booking
That's a copy and paste from my booking. As there is 2 adults flying I presumed it meant 3,458 x 2 adults. True?

so you will get 3458 miles and 4 tier points on your account, and your wife will 3458 miles and 4 tier points on hers

No, as i said, each pax can earn their own FC miles, but one person can't claim miles for all the paxl on the booking. So if your wife joins she will earn miles, but if she doesn't, you cannot earn double ( your miles and her miles). You only earn miles YOU personally fly.
