hello everyone i am a new member and have a question,i want to use virgin to go to thailand next year with thai airways,a code share,is the ticket virgin or the holiday company supply an E ticket or a hard copy normal ticket ? the crux of the matter is can i change the return date of the ticket at the thai airways offices ,paying a charge is ok,or do the code virgin put on the ticket prevent this,reason is i want a package holiday with virgin but might want to extend my stay but still use virgin return trip,thank you if you reply ,i can not find the answer any where at all,regards alan

Welcome! I am afraid that Virgin do not codeshare on the route so you will be flying on an Eva Air, as the default carrier on their packages, there are other options but Eva is what is costed into all the packages.
This could well be a blessing because if you fly on Virgin or a Virgin Codeshare you are not allowed to extend the holiday without buying accomodation or car hire for the rest of the trip.
I don't know what the Eva Air contract for tour operators says but you may well be able to just pick your extended return date when you book the package so you don't have to pay any extra.
Anyway, the best bet is to talk to Virgin Holidays and ask them if you can extend your flight without any extra accommodation.
