telling me that our return from JFK on 23rd March, VS004 has been cancelled and we are moved onto VS046

Does this happen a lot and do you need to check in again or do your seats automatically move?

They do sometimes cancel and merge flight if the loads are light.

You are best to check the seat map, as the system isn't the best at rebooking seats!

Thanks,

Thanks Neil,

Just had a look online and we are still p/e but they have moved us to middle row seats with no option for a window, not nice when returning from our honeymoon

Don't forget only 60% of the seats can be pre-allocated, so there are still 40% to be released at OLCI stage. Do have a look if possible 3 or so hours before OLCI opens as quite often new seats become available around that time.

If that fails, then there are always the Exit rows/bulkheads that can only be allocated at the airport on the day, so still plenty of options for you.
