Tier points on upgraded flight

If I have a flexible Economy ticket and after booking pay to upgrade it to PE (as opposed to using miles) would that then earn tier points etc at the PE level or Y level? ie 3 per leg as opposed to 2 per leg?

If you have paid for PE you will get the PE TPs.

Yes you should get the PE miles BUT you will need to keep an eye on yout FC account to make sure the right TPs are awarded, sometimes the VS system can't handle the change in class atomatically
