"Seats currently unavailable"????

Am trying to book my seats on my flt to Orlando 4/05/2012 i have my PNR no and my booking comes up fine,although when i try to book my seats it says "seats currently unavailable"??? Why is this???

I have been trying to get my PNR no: for weeks and reservations kept saying they have not released the PNR yet,ive only just today been given my PNR no

I assume you mean for your flights in 2012 and not 2011 as you put in your first post.

Are you flying PE by any chance? If so, due to the refits of the LGW/MAN a/c from April next year, Virgin announced that PE pax flying on the 747 flights won't be able to select there seats in advance.

Duh Silly Me ii) Yes Neil,the flt is indeed in 2012...Yes i am flying PE...I think i now remember a conversation with yourself regarding the 747's refit etc...Do you have any idea as to when the seats will be ready to allocate??

We don't really have any info, only that for flights on the 747's from April 2012, PE pax won't be able to select seats.

We have discussed if it might mean a config change during the re-fits, as it isn't affecting Y and UC pax, but nothing has been confirmed, so unfortunately, until VS release more info then we don't really know the answer.
