Just want to check before I enquire about these extra leg room seats Virgin. The lay out I see in my booking is with Row 22 ABC having no seats behind are these definitely extra leg room seats?

Can you pick the exact extra leg room seats you want? Can you be moved to other extra leg room seats?

Just trying to work out if it is worth it, we are travelling 7-22 Aug and currently have 2 bulkhead seats row 21 and 1 row 22 seat coming back and 3 row 23 seats DEF going out.

I don't think we are likely to keep the bulkhead seats so thought row 22 ABC might be a good option but don't want to pay if we could end up elsewhere.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer
Here is a list of the extra legroom seats.

If you have paid for the extra legroom seats then they would be more or less guaranteed. I say "more or less" because no seat is fully guaranteed until on board the aircraft but in that case the extra fee for the seats would be refunded.

To book these seats you need to call VS if you have booked with them direct up to 48 hours before the flight. In all other cases they are allocated at the airport

Yes you can request specific legroom seats but they are only requests and may be moved for operational reasons as is the case with any seat request. To ensure the seats you must complete on-line check-in no later that 13 hours before the flight

When I enquired about these I was told that not only did they not allocate you seat numbers but also that they would not guarantee that our party of four would be seated together (although they would try to keep parties together where possible).

The extra legroom seats on the LGW a/c are in different places depending if you are on ROS/GAL/LIP/ROY or VAST/XLG/TOP and it's usually only the day before the flight that they know which a/c will be doing which flight out of LGW so quite likely that your seats might get changed on the day.
