Am flying to Miami next month with my husband and 8 year old daughter in UC. The plane is currently a 747 with UC and economy in the bubble. Don't fancy the bubble with economy being up there as well (although enjoyed bubble in PE when flew Gatwick - Orlando years ago).

So I've currently allocated seats 17, 18 and 19 K for us. (I think, the last three in a row in the nose). Are these good seats. Never done UC in a 747. It looks like it's more spacious there rather than further back where there are 4 in a row.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Just returned from Washington yesterday in UC. Amazing flight.

Thank you

I've raided my photo collection again to find this picture taken from 18K. You can see how much space there is.

Great choice y)
The nose has so much more space than further back, plus the seats are a little roomier than on an Airbus.

Best seats on the plane as far as I'm concerned (along with their 'A' equivalents on the other side). I'm eternally grateful that VS didn't try and shoehorn a few more seats in the middle space - which, let's face it, is big enough to put a bar in as with the LGW config planes!

Whilst in no way a criticism of Tink's photo, it really doesn't do justice to just how much open space you get in that section...

Oh, and I'll be sat in 17A in a few hours time. Just heading to the CH now (erm, I meant 'heading to the airport'...)

16/17/18/19 are great rows on the LHR 744. I preferred the A side as I like to sleep on my left side and found it really uncomfortable trying to settle on the K side.
