OK - I booked my flights yesterday and I'm going PE from Man to MCO & Upper on the inbound flight - both flights on the 747. I haven't flown Upper class before and just wondered, as my ticket class is z - do I still get all the Upper class facilities especially the increased luggage allowance on my return. I do hope so as that was our main reason for paying a bit more for Upper. Also, can anyone tell me what the seats are like in 8A&K?? They were the only seats available when I booked but I'd still like to have opinions please.
Thanks for any replies.

Hello!

You still qualify for the increased baggage allowance and access to the Delta lounge on your return.

8A&K are good choices.

A Z fare is one of the 4 paid for UC tickets and is the most restricted in terms of making changes etc and it also dosent qualify you for a CDC which is why it is the cheapest UC ticket.

However, apart from the CDC you will get the same UC experience and benefits and yes that all important 96kg per person luggage allowance on your trip back !

Thanks for the info. I haven't ever seen the Delta lounge - is it OK? I do use the Escape lounge in Manchester & find that relaxing to use before the flight.

The last time I used Delta Lounge they'd cut it in half.

No food served, just snacks. Also you are not allowed to take purchased food , e.g MacDonalds etc, into the Delta Lounge as they do not have food license & are strict on this point.

You may wish to consider McCoy's for a relaxing meal & a view of the planes. It's unofficially the V-Flyer Lounge, thanks to Buns y)

Happy flying
