Seats

I am flying to Shanghai this weekend on a Airbus A340-600 (I think). I have paid an extra £30 for more legroom in economy. Does anyone know what seats they are. Also I wasn't aware that having paid an extra £30 I was unable to check in online! Really irritating as my seat will be allocated when i get to the airport, so I might be left with THE worst seat.

Well you could be allocated with the worst seat of the best of the economy seats - not exactly horrendous.

True! However there are two of us travelling and would be really p***** off if they only had two seats that were not together. My gripe is purely that I wasn't told when I made my booking (directly with Virgin), and I rather like booking online 24hrs before hand.

On my recent trip to Dubai I noticed that the extra leg room seats are in rows 34 and 35. They are easy to spot as they are purple. There may be other rows but these were the ones I noticed.

They seemed to give at least another 6 inches or so.
