Virgin Atlantic announce Vancouver flights.

YVR is Bookable from 1st Dec according to Greg on Facebook.

Lo and behold, no sign of Vancouver on the drop-down destinations list on the VS website. Way to drum up business VS.

Agree clarkey, very disappointing! VS had ample time to get the pricing on the website prior to launch.

VS continue to over promise, under deliver.

Seems the answer from VS is to phone up - I like to browse multiple options online, then call if I need to.

Greg's advice is to phone and they should be on the website 'shortly'

But as one responder said they like to play around with the dates themselves.

But I agree another VS fail in delivering on its promises.

I bet someone in Rev Management ig going 'We set up a new route but none of the bu**ers are buying' and some one in IT is going 'when will Rev Management tell us the fares??'

VS YVR flights/fares have been bookable for some time now via travel agents/online agents as GDS fares where released weeks ago.

I hardly think having fares appear a few days late on the VS website is going to have much of a long term impact

James - appreciate it won't have any long term imbact but it seems very strange that VS has a new product to sell yet it is not selling it on its own website.

Noticed this, this morning. Looked on the VS website and found nothing at all but then looking on travel supermarket did a quick search for Vancouver flights for next summer and some Virgin flights were showing as available.

Please do feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but what I could see was the flight shown to be leaving LHR at 13:00 arriving into YVR at 15:10 then the return flight leaving at 19:[something] and arriving into LHR at 13: [something] the next day, hope this helps in any way?

To be fair, they said they would be bookable from 1st December and they are by calling.
