Hello Dear V-Flyers...

You're such a knowledgeable bunch and I hope some of you can answer some of my Virgin Related questions.

We recently booked a little getaway in the sun to the Mexican Riviera for next November with Virgin Holidays, obviously flying with VS on their soon to commence LGW-CUN route. I'm used to booking flights direct and so have a few questions around how agents deal with things...

* Thus far I have only paid a deposit for the holiday. Is there any point in asking V-Hols for the relevant code to MMB on the VS website or will they tell me to wait until I've paid in full?

* My return flight is not yet open for booking directly with VS, so is this the reason I can't log in with my 7-digit V-Hols booking ref, or is it because it's not the correct code anyway? (Don't I need an alpha-numeric 6 digit PNR?). V-Hols have my Flying Club number, so should I be worried that it's not showing in My Future Flights?

* EVEN if I could log in to VS MMB, would I be able to request seats - as (presumably) the LGW cabin refits will be finished and we would be flying on one of these LGW birds (all being equal and VS have managed to stick to schedule with the rifts). Are the seatmaps even available yet?

Sorry for a very selfish post :(
Thanks for any info you lovely guys are able to help me with.

NKP.

If it is still outside the 11month booking window, then you won't be able to access the MMB page, regardless of it you have the right booking refs or not.

The UC cabin isn't changing during the LGW refits (in terms of layout), so it is only PE pax that can't pre-select seats during April thru October next year.

On all our VH holidays as soon as the flight is available in the 11 month time limit you will be able to get in and manage your booking. Could i also ask which hotel you have chosen as we were also looking and have the brochure for next March 2013 (40TH ANNIVERSARY).

The UC flights also look quite reasonable prices as well. Many thanks Linda y)

Totally this, all my VS flights have been with VH and as soon as they are within the 11 month window I've logged on though VS and selected seats etc.

Contact VH. There is a different code to the one you will have. It's the Airline booking reference. I've had to ask them for it a couple of times. Once you have this you should me able to MMB. I'm going in September and was able to MMB in October.
Also you will still need to input your FC number in as it won't have been transferred to your flights.

Hope this is some help.
