I don't think so.
In the past year, VS service has gone down the pan. I have been using them for many years and have seen a gradual decline in all areas of service. But in the last 12 to 18 months it has dived off a cliff.

Agreed y) There has been a rapid decline in the level of service as reported on this site n(
I have a flight booked with the dark side in 2 weeks and look forward to sharing my experiences (good or bad) through my TR :D

IMO, I think that the pre/post flight experience is what a lot of people are finding worse recently, which isn't (necessarily) reflected in the flyer ratings. It would be good if there was a way of rating that here on V-Flyer, not just the flight it's self.

(nice to see that others too think that the UC food has improved recently y) )

Have you tried AA recently? They are now leagues ahead for onboard service than VS.

AA may have older cabin crew but at least they know they are there to serve.

This has to be a joke?

AA don't even have PTVs in their international 767's never mind AVOD. How they can even be mentioned in the same breath as VS or BA is beyond me.

I'm actively trying to avoid 'legacy' carriers in the US now. I will only use DL/AA/UA/US if there's no viable alternative. I would never in a million years fly any of them internationally. A trip to ORD and back in UA economy was quite enough!

I've only flown 777's with AA and they were touch screen tvs.

I'm sure AA will upset me at some point but as yet all my flights have been excellent which I wish I could still say about my more recent flights with VS

I guess it comes down to how much you travel. I only travel to the states once a year at Xmas with the family.
