Hello chaps. Really quick question for anyone in the know: If VS have 3 reward seats available on a particular flight, and BMI have 1 showing as available on the same flight, is the BMI seat one of the three VS ones? Hope that makes sense...

I'm sure I read somewhere that BMI still lift their UC rewards from the G bucket which would indicate they come from the same 'pool'. Happy to be corrected though :-)

When I was booking mt two UC flights to mia a couple of months ago, I booked on the phone with vs. when sorting availability, it was identical to what was online for miles only on the vs site. So I can only assume they use the same G bucket.

Well, the good news is that BMI do have a separate allocation to VS. The bad news is, that whilst they have a reward seat available from MAN-MCO (which matches up with the three Gs we've just booked with VS) they can't do the return from New York. The day before, yes. The day after, no problem. Frustrating and, at £2,300 for a Z, expensive. Ah well...
