Service direction in PE A330 MAN to MCO

Hi all,

Am booking seats in PE for our VS075 and VS076. Could anybody confirm whether they start meal/drinks service from the front or back? Just so there may be more likelihood of getting first choice of meal (my mum is particularly fussy about food!)

When we flew in October it was front to back, but I'm sure I've read a TR that stated thy worked back to front since.

Hopefully a crew member will be able to confirm the policy,or lack of one.

I have done a few flights now on the A330's from MAN to MCO. They have always served the pre-meal drinks and main meal from front to back and then the second service, back to front.....

However- Neil rightly says someone will come along and explain if a process exists or not...

Not had an issue either way - though personally I position myself somewhere in the middle.... y)

What do you mean by fussy?

If she has particular dietary needs then she should consider booking a special meal (details on the VS website) or even takining her own food - bearing in mind the rules about taking liquids through security and the crew not being able to reheat passengers own food.

The same applies if she is just fussy. There is a choice of three main courses usually beef, chicken and vegetarian (pasta) but other than that it is how it comes.

Yep it's front to back for main meal service. For afternoon tea there is only one choice of sandwich so doesn't matter where you're sat.
