VA Miles upgrade changed?

Hi There,

Apologizes in advance if this has been asked before.

Has the amount of VA Miles required for an upgrade changed?

Last summer, I upgraded from Prem Econ to Upper one-way to SFO for 20,000 miles. Now, I've just checked the VA site and it states 12,500?

Or am I reading it wrong?
