Virgin sale

Burning midnight, oil just noticed the sale is on - 12.40am, a little before BA at 8.00am!!

Looks like some good deals in Y and PE but UC fares not too enticing. Cheapest £1776 to BOS or NY. Had been waiting for SFO UC fares but they're not in sale at all! Will probably stick to reward flights for trip in March now.

Assume the BA fares will be identical?!

I've been looking pre-sale for NY - could have got UC less than £1776 last week!

So much for a 'Sale' the flights I have been watching have now gone up by £71 each this morning !

Looks like the sale has been extended to 2 February - only for Y and PE however and mostly US and Africa routes.

The new Fare Watch utility is quite handy now. Noticed that a lot of fares have all gone up at the same time. Call me cynical, but this smells like artificial inflation so they can turn around in a couple of weeks time with a new 'sale'.

Weird things seem to be happening. The sale didn't include UC fares (or so I believed). But yesterday UC returns to NYC jumped from £1800 to £2200+. Today they are back down again.
