New UC suites LGW

Does anybody have any information on the changes to the upper class suites on the LGW MAN fleet. I have read that the Virgin Australia business class seats may be fitted!

Hi and welcome to the site.

The LGW/MAN a/c are not being fitted with a new UCS when they have their refits this year. Instead the current UCS will get a 'deep clean' and be reinstalled on the a/c. Details of the LGW refits can be found in this thread.

There is a new UCS that Virgin haven't unveiled yet, it is being installed on the LHR fleet only, and this year only on the new A333 a/c that are entering the fleet throughout the year. The rest of the LHR fleet will be upgraded over the next 3 years.

Have heard from an insider with a sneaky peek at potential new "Dream Suite" offering for the LGW/MAN aircraft:

Decent storage under seat and foot stool, although a bit of departure in colour schemes, likely to emphasis routings to key holiday destinations..

Beleive still under discussions on dining arrangements although insider has hinted at
