As you may know, I'm not a fan of the private car use of DTCI, especially after some of the "horror" stories I have heard since my last experience, but I was more glad than normal to be checking in downstairs earlier, as at about 07:00 there was a queue about 5/6 cars deep waiting to get into the DTCI!
When I got up to the UC wing, it looked as if there was only one member of staff checking in upstairs. Obviously some poor planning there with booking too many cars at the same time. I wonder how often this happens? Or if it was a one off and genuinely short staffed due to illness etc.
