LHR T3 Amex Foreign Currency

Hi,

Been using the Amex exchange at T3 for the past 6 months (15-20 exchanges total >£2K) and just noticed that, although I always show my FC Au card and get it commission-free - they have yet to credit a single point to my card. Maybe the crappy rate they give is reward enough????

Anyone else seen this - or is it just me???

Would urge anyone who has used Amex FC to check your statement and see if they are missing anything.....

same happened to me on the two occasions I have used them. They take the number etc and even promise double miles but not a single mile has ever appeared.
Worst - I have found the rate to be one of the worst. Surprisingly about 10% worst than I could even get at the hotel reception.

I used AmEx twice in Dec and my miles appeared about a month later.

Used in the past and the miles just never appeared - used two weeks ago and the miles already showing....so strange...

Thanks for letting me know it isn't just me - seems like Flying Club are having a few issues with this partner!!

I've emailed Amex and will wait to see what they say. Hopefully someone from Virgin is monitoring this and can ask questions....

Glad I kept all my receipts!!
