Spending Miles on flights to St Lucia

Hi all you wonderful travellers!

Does anybody know how I can spend my Virgin Air Miles??

I have tried using them to book flights for my holiday to St Lucia but the flights worked out so much more than when booking a package with Sandals?

Anybody know why?

Straight reward seat (y/PE/UC)

Hi, I've done Sandals in St Lucia a couple of times and know a couple of good websites. Pm me if you like.

I have found little difference between booking it all with Sandlas, or doing it seperately. They don't mind if you book the flights yourself. I have used miles bookings in the past (in PE) with no issues, but if you are going at peak times (or in UC) then there will be times with limited availability.

Sandlas use a cheap fare bucket so if theey are no longer "generally available" then independant flights will be much more expensive.

My miles bookings on PE were made about 10 months out, and I had no issues for October each time... I have booked PE direct with them for this October and got a good PE price bundled in.

We booked using miles for June UC outward, PU with E to PE upgrade on return. no UC available on the return
