Hi all, flying on the VS200 from LHR to HKG late May. I arrive in London the previous evening from Paris and will stay with friends. My flight is at 22:30 - what time can I drop my bags off? Is 2pm-ish too early? Is 8-ish hours in the Clubhouse (and some shopping) too long? What do you think is the maximum duration for a Clubhouse first timer?

I hope to have a shower and hopefully get a treatment at the Cowshed if there is availibility so that would take up some time.

Opinions appreciated! y)

Whilst you can get there extremely early, even the most hardiest of us might find 8 hours a bit too long

Yes, you can pretty much be certain of getting a treatment, and you will need to make careful plans to schedule things during your stay (I.e. shower first or treatment? - pretty key if you decide on a haircut!)

You can drop your bags off at any time during the day but you may well find 8 hours too long. I once arrived at 9am for a flight leaving at 4pm because of flight connections and really I was quite bored by the time the flight was called. About 3 hours seems to be the optimum time to enjoy all the CH has to offer but without getting bored

Many thanks both - might make it 5pm-ish then! Time for a treatment (hopefully), shower, dinner and cocktails! I enjoy people watching so I'm sure I won't get bored!

Appreciate your help!

My first visit to the CH was for 6 hours because my flight was delayed. I certainly felt that that was too long. 2-3 hours is probably enough unless you really want to go to town.

Have a good flight!
