Hi,

When you book a flight with Virgin you have the option of picking lowest or flexible ticket price. Does this mean that lowest price is usually none refundable and on the plane you get the middle four seats and no window views as they are cheaper tickets? Also do any customers, lowest or flexible tickets get to choose their own seats in economy or prem economy.

Cheers

Hi,

You are correct that the lowest fares are in the fare buckets that are no refundable and heavily restricted in terms of changes etc.

However, the fare code nor the price you pay has any bearing on where your seats are or your ability to pre select seats. A higher fare doesn't mean you get priority on window seats etc.

Usually Virgin all all customers in all cabins to pre select seats 11 months prior to the flight, however from the 1st November they are suspending that facility while they are upgrading their IT systems, it hasn't been announced what date it will restart. You will still be able to preselect seats at OLCI stage, however as always, seats maybe changed due to operational reasons.
