Hi all,

So excited just had to post - first trip in UC tomorrow (HKG - LHR) I think I've worked out I'll be on Surfer Girl (VWEB). Just got to finish packing and decide which cocktail I'm going to have first!

I'm primed for an epic trip report - I really love reading them and they're so informative.

Hope everyone else due to fly soon has a safe and enjoyable trip!

Cocktail: Redhead for me, first and only! We did 6 hours in the LHR Clubhouse before our first UC flight - loved it. Enjoy!

Well the 'traditiona' v-flyer cocktail is a mojito but personally I can't stand them.

The redhead is a tad too fruity for me so I tend to settle (oh the hardship!) for a straight champers, a cosmo or a vesper martini.

As you are on the HKG flight the Grey Goose loft will be open (?opens at 4:00 PM) so pop up there too.

Enjoy !

Just wanted to add my best wishes too. I still remember so clearly my first UC flight ... and to be honest I still get the same thrill of anticipation even now....

Thanks all for your well wishes. I'm currently I'm the Clubhouse at HKG had a mojito, about to try a Redhead. Feels only right to objectively compare.

PS. I'm a she not a he! Not that it matters!

Check in to Clubhouse was about 10 minutes tops. Immigration was very fast. I arrived about 6.30pm
