Hello, does anybody know what's the earliest time I can checkin for a 1405 flight at manchester?

We're booked on the VS073 to Orlando Int on the 10th July and I've got exit row seats booked. Due to the exit row seats it's pointless for me to do OLCI (other than to see which 747 config we've got out of curiosity!) and Virgin don't operate twilight checkin at MAN as far as I'm aware.

I'd like to get there as early as possible so I get to hopefully pick a window seat and maybe even a bubble seat if we nab a refurb :0

We're staying in Manchester the night before so we'll be kicking around wasting time, so I'm happy to do that in the airport if it means getting my choice of exit row allocation :)

I don't know about Manchester check-in I'm afraid.

But be warned - on most of the exit rows, the window seats don't have extra legroom because the emergency slides fixed to the inside of the doors severely restrict the available legroom in those seats (which VS don't charge extra for).

If you're tall you'd probably be better off with the middle or aisle seats. I recommend 25B or C if you can get them - then you're literally first off the plane.

In april this year, we were there at 7:30 and check in was open for both the flights on that day.

Thanks for those seating pointers.

row 25 looks like a peach I guess if that's where we'll be getting off - I'll definately gun for that one.

For the window seat, if I understand your post correctly it's not classes as an exit row seat so our pre-booking doesn't apply for it? My partner is only quite small and I think she'd rather the window over the legroom... but getting off the plane first is by far the best option so it's all good!!

She should be ok then - in which case you should ask for a refund for her if it's allowed. They normally offer the window and middle exit row seats for 2 for the price of 1.
