Given that September 2nd is on a Sunday probably not. The menu tends to change midweek

Scan some recent TRs for UC flights to the US, I recall one from last week I think where the full menu was posted. The menu is different on the return.

Hello there,

Anyone knows if menu for the VS400 to Dubai is likely to be the same as the one for Hong Kong considering the time of departure? I know the service will be the same for the dinner, but as this is a short flight and a busy day ahead of me in Dubai, just wander if i would eat in CH and go straight to sleep...

Will be flying in 2 weeks time.

Thanks and atb...

The VS400 offers the Dine express dining experience which is a drink after take-off, a choice of two starters and three main courses - rounding off with dessert or cheese plate...the flight is sometimes only just over 6hrs long, so eating in the CH and sleeping on board is what most tend to do..

The VS401 for your return offers the full dining experience with lunch after take-off including the cheese trolley and afternoon tea before landing.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Jon.

Was more wandering about the actual menu? Know that the service is the same as VS200, but curious if menu is the same or the same as US outbound flight due to short flight time.

Thanks

The menu on the VS400 is generally similar to the main menu on the LHR-USA flights but with a local variant. On the VS200 there is a Chinese option; on the VS400 there will be one with a nod to local cuisine. There will be no pork products and the bacon is likely to be turkey rashers (if you know what I mean :D ). It is likely it will be a lamb dish

Usually for the departures to the Far East/India/Africa routes there is one such option

The lamb sausage sandwich from the breakfast menu is quite nice...but as HL says above, the menu does tend to follow the UK-USA selection.
