Reading the posts re: the new layout in PE on the refurbed 747's got me thinking.
We can only just stretch to PE and save all year, (as we all do I imagine and no chance In the near future of going Upper Class, unless an upgrade comes our way)
However the other half is 6ft 4" and rather a large chap so we always try and get the exit seat in the bubble. The exit seat in the bubble is now economy!! so that leaves the bulkhead which correct me if I have got this wrong is given to families with children/young babies first? Can you request the bulkhead seats at online check in or are they allocated at the airport check in? if there are no families that need these seats.
