Hi,

I hope someone can help me, I am trying to look up prices for flights either to hong kong or Orlando economy so I can upgrade or obtain companion flights. But not getting very far as every time I click on the upgrade / companion page the flight search at bottom of page whilst loading gives the fare class box on right hand side but when fully loaded the fare code boxes disappear?!?

What else can I do to get the fare code boxes to stay on the page once it has fully loaded, I thought I was pretty good with pc's but the virgin website does confuse me sometimes!

When doing any companion/upgrade flight options, 10/10 times it's better to call VS and do it Andy...

To get prices, I tend to use matrix.itasoftware.com - where you can specify a fare code using this in the box under each airport code: "/f bc=L" or "/f bc=S" etc to get an L or an S fare to show up. But you can't book with them, so you'll end up speaking to VS regardless...

Andy

That booking page works fine for me. Are you literally just loading the page and finding that it disappears? Or do you select anything in the booking form first?

What browser are you using? It works for me with Firefox 14.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies, currently I'm trying in my iPhone as my pc is broken, it is literally showing when page first starts loading then when status bar reaches 100% it just disappears.

I'll try on my pc over the weekend once sorted

Thanks
Andy

Even using it from normal browsers gets problematic every so often. Wipe your cookies in that case and try again. Or try another browser (Firefox, chrome)

You are making the assumption that Virgin has a 21st century website. Or an IT department that knows a certain part of its anatomy from its elbow. It's a shame as everyone I have ever dealt with in Virgin is a nice person and I think they are let down by those that are "above" them.
