Another baggage question

We are flying PE both ways this year and our son who will be joining us 10 days into the trip is flying out Economy but returning Upper on the same flight as ourselves (he is a spoilt brat with indulgent parents )

As we can only take one case each (its complicated) would it be OK for our son to check our bags (after shopping up to 32kg) and ourselves to travel without checked bags?.

As long as he is within his allowance of 3 x 32kg and has complied with all the requirements about packing the bags himself, that should be fine.

So you all take out 1 bag each of up to 23kg (by choice)
He then brings back 3 bags each of up to 32kg and you bring nothing.

All within the rules.

It would be a very good idea for him to say that they are all his bags and never mention anything about you.
You should all be able to check in at the UC check-in together but to save the check in agent's confusion, best just to say they are all his and you'll be travelling with nothing.

What are you going to do about the lounge? Only 1 guest allowed?

Well as I have brought him up to be truthful I will just have to make damned sure he does pack all the bags himself. ):

We aren't fussed about the lounge. He's welcome to escape there on his own if he feels the need to get away from us

I am aware and would normally take full advantage but a tour we are taking as part of our trip will only accommodate one case each.
